You step up to the ATM machine, place in the slot your main master card for getting cash only to discover that your account is blocked.
Your visa is stamped American citizen and you anticipated being able to expressly pay your pal the money you owed him.
But no go!
Being able to conduct business, to live a life has been assaulted because you hold to thought, a viewpoint contrary to those who control the money supply.
Your bank debit card has expired your life.
Welcome to the end times.
Two things right up front.
Number 1: Money is the answer to everything – at least that is what God stated.
Money is what makes the world go around.
A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes life merry, but money is the answer for everything. (Ecclesiastes 10:19)
From Wall Street to the church pulpit it is clear money is the answer to everything.
Number 2: Money must be put in perspective if claiming to be a Christian.
Quoting 1 Timothy 6:10, many whine that it is the “love” of money that is the real problem.
“for a root of all the evils is the love of money,” 1 Timothy 6:10
These individuals always fail to define what “love of money” means.
How does a person know if they love money?
If the love of money is the root of all evil how then is a person set free from such evil?
Finally, how do we know if someone who claims to be a Christian really loves Jesus or has fallen in love with money?
Jesus provides the answer.
Jesus told us that if a person does not “hate” and “despise” money they love it.
“No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.” (Luke 16:13)
It is always God or money.
No middle ground.
No grey area, no excuses, no comfortable interpretation of Jesus’s words.
It is
Love God and Hate Money
Or
Love Money and thus Hate God
The Christian church is not known for this attitude and is highly offended at the notion of hating and despising money.
God will not let this cloud of grey to remain long over the Christian church.
What every disciple of Jesus should have demonstrated to their neighbor God will let the world spin out of control so that it is clear who is for real.
Very soon the choice between God and Money will be a hard-cold reality.
The anti-christ will require everyone in the world to have a mark on their bodies in order to use money.
One day everyone calling themselves a Christian will be required to choose, God or Money.
Revelation 13:16-17 tells us the anti-christ forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
A true disciple following Jesus is taught by God in heart, mind and soul and how to hate and despise money.
This God or money issue is going to get very real, real fast.
666, the mark of the beast will not be some spiritualized hocus-pocus but a marked-on-the-skin reality.
This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666. Revelation 13:18
